Blogging Funk

I have truly been in a blogging funk.. I have been busy on vacation, and at mom's.. and now that I have come home we have been transitioning back into our homeschool routine.. and preparing to turn in a leased vehicle.. getting it return ready and all sparkling clean.. my computer time has been spent playing these wildly addictive farming games and "yoville" on facebook.. I can't seem to help myself... but every time I would go to blog I would try to think of something else to do.. I love to share with my friends, but I have just not felt like sitting down and blogging.. so here's what I have been up to..

We went to the National Black Biker's Round Up in Atlanta for our couples vacation.. it was lots of fun.. we had a wonderful time.. here's a pic of the four of us that went together:

This picture was taken at Stone Mountain.. we road the tram up the mountain and walked around once we were at the top.. We also visited the King Center and the underground mall.. here's hubby and I posing for a picture:

I took lots and lots of pictures at all the places we went.. if you are interested in browsing them click on the button below:

I can't say I have gotten a large amount of crafting done.. but a few things have been finished.. here's the rundown:
These are needlebooks -

These are pin cushions -

bottlecap pin cushion with handmade fancy straight pins by you.

Also, I bought this great pillow a crafty friend had on her etsy store.. I just couldn't resist.. it is beautifully made and I have it proudly displayed in my living room.. you can see her etsy store (loaded with lots of eye candy at reasonable prices) -HERE
bought this from Lucy of Folk and Fancy by you.

Today I managed to get our classroom corner of the living room vamped and ready to go... here it is looking more tidy than usual:

Also here is a candid shot of the boys.. they have slept this way since they were born, and I suspect while they were in my belly too:

You have probably grown tired of my pictures.. but I took another with my Imac and LOOK MOM - my double chin is gone!!

This weight loss is starting to pay off.. I have lost 25 lbs so far if you have been watching my ticker on my blog you know that already.. I have lost enough now that clothes I was wearing before are beginning to be too big to wear at all.. and things that were too tight to wear before are even getting to big.. my mom gave me this air climber that she had (and didn't use) and I am trying to get myself into a routine of using it.. hopefully it will aid in my weightloss as well.

Well that's it for now.. hopefully I will get out of this blogging funk and be more chatty next time.. but until then - Much love and God bless.

You look fabulous! I wish I had known about the bikers convo, as I wanted one of those hairband/neck scarf/hats that you can buy there! The boys are so lucky that they can still find comfort in each other like that at their age. And the push the button pillow is priceless!

Hi! Congrats on the weight loss. Also great pictures of you and your friends and the boys.
I am not in the mood for blogging and stitching too, miss home too much!

courtney, I have always thought you were gorgeous, but you just get prettier and prettier. You look tired though honey. Take care of yourself so you can take care of that precious family!

Great job on the weight loss! You look fantastic, keep up the great work! And your boys are just too adorable, God bless them. It's so sweet to see them sleeping like that with not a care in the world.

What great photos! You look great, and the one of the boys is so adorable. Really enjoyed seeing your little classroom. (Still think you should email Dr Phil, lol)
